Senior Smart Contract Auditor

Full-time Remote (Worldwide) $150k - $250k

Experienced smart contract auditor for our audit team. You'll work on security assessments of DeFi protocols, bridges, and blockchain applications. Lead audits, mentor junior auditors, and contribute to research.

What You'll Do

  • Lead security audits of complex DeFi protocols including AMMs, lending platforms, derivatives, and cross-chain bridges
  • Identify critical vulnerabilities including reentrancy, access control flaws, oracle manipulation, and economic exploits
  • Write detailed audit reports with clear vulnerability descriptions, impact assessments, and remediation recommendations
  • Collaborate with protocol teams to verify fixes and conduct re-audits
  • Mentor junior auditors and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
  • Contribute to open-source security tools and research publications

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in smart contract security auditing or development
  • Deep understanding of Solidity, the EVM, and common vulnerability patterns
  • Experience with DeFi protocols (AMMs, lending, staking, bridges)
  • Proficiency with security tools (Slither, Mythril, Foundry, Echidna)
  • Strong written communication skills for technical report writing
  • Track record of identified vulnerabilities (bug bounties, audit findings, or CTF achievements)
  • Experience with formal verification methods is a plus

Security Researcher

Full-time Remote (US/EU Timezones) $120k - $180k

Join our research team. Investigate attack vectors, develop detection methodologies, and publish research. Technical investigation with the opportunity to influence industry security practices.

What You'll Do

  • Research emerging vulnerability classes and develop detection methodologies
  • Analyze on-chain exploits and create detailed post-mortem reports
  • Develop and improve our internal security analysis tools
  • Publish research papers, blog posts, and educational content
  • Present findings at security conferences and industry events
  • Collaborate with academic institutions on joint research projects

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in security research, blockchain development, or related fields
  • Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals (cryptography, distributed systems, compilers)
  • Experience with program analysis techniques (static analysis, symbolic execution, fuzzing)
  • Ability to read and understand academic papers and implement novel techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Published research, blog posts, or open-source contributions demonstrating expertise
  • PhD in Computer Science or related field is a plus but not required

Smart Contract Security Engineer

Full-time Remote (Worldwide) $100k - $160k

Security engineer to build and maintain security analysis infrastructure. Develop automated tools for vulnerability detection, create testing frameworks, and build systems for the audit team.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain security analysis tools (static analyzers, fuzzers, symbolic execution engines)
  • Build automation for common audit workflows and vulnerability detection
  • Create and maintain our internal vulnerability database and knowledge management systems
  • Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines for client protocols
  • Contribute to open-source security tools used by the broader community
  • Participate in security audits to understand tooling requirements firsthand

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience with focus on security or developer tools
  • Proficiency in Python, Rust, or TypeScript for tool development
  • Understanding of smart contract security and common vulnerability patterns
  • Experience with program analysis concepts (AST manipulation, control flow analysis)
  • Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure (nodes, indexers, transaction simulation)
  • Strong software engineering practices (testing, documentation, code review)
  • Contributions to security tools (Slither, Foundry, Mythril) is a plus
